As bad as what chuck said. In any war the president as commander in chief send the boys off to war. Was FDR a disgrace because he used propaganda to fire up the home front? You can have your opinions regarding the efficacy of the war and of the info used by the government to fight it. But you crossed the line. And remember FDR sent loyal Japanese americans to camps--all of them. Ashcroft has detained a few hundred moslems to date who are suspects. Yes there will be a few sad stories to tell about those falsely accused. And they should be compensated. But you get my drift on how much more liberal Ashcroft is than FDR. Times have changed for the better in that sense. mike
