I think it is silly to engage someone and then complain about it- but if you enjoy it, follow your bliss. This isn't about some choice I have given you- you are not understanding. I don't want you thinking you have to discuss anything with me. If you enjoy it, or if you enjoy discussions, but also the on the side complaining about them, then by all means, do what you like.
Sometimes I get the feeling you don't do what you want to do, but do what you think other people expect of you. I wanted to assure you I have no expectation for you. Whether you post to me, or whether you do not- it's all the same to me. I enjoy our discussions, and if I didn't I wouldn't post to you. But on the other hand, I wouldn't want to impose any duty on you to respond, because I enjoy posting to lots of people- and if it weren't you, it would be someone else.
