<<Why such a hurry GST?>> I have only one interest -- improving the national security of the United States. Delay increases the prospects for nuclear proliferation, nuclear war and nuclear terrorism. None of these things are in our interests. Delay creates the conditions in which we will prepare for war and so will North Korea. Tensions are going to increase, not decrease. Outbursts like the one we saw from Bolton will convince the North that we are bent on war. And they will use the delay to prepare for a war that seems increasingly inevitable -- a war which with every day that passes is more likely to include nuclear weapons and possible nuclear terrorism. Why is it so hard for you to understand that getting what you want -- as in six-sided talks -- is not a victory if six-sided talks are bad for our interests and bad for our national security? If we are not interested in moving into talks with undue delay, then we should be preparing to attack sooner rather than later. North Korea knows this as well. We are indeed drifting towards war.
