Actually, the ideal scenario would have tech underperforming non-tech at this juncture, perhaps to the extent that tech has *already* hit its high, with one last gasp left in non-tech. If that unfolds, expect to see gains in non-tech over the next 5-10 days matched percentage for percentage by tech, instead of the usual beta of two for tech.

A choppy, 7% final leg up in SPX would produce a nice rounding top there, while 7% in NDX would just about take it up to establish a falling resistance line.
