SIA reports semiconductor sales for June 1997: techstocks.com ---- off topic ---- welcome to the club of hard knocks Jerome. LSI will give you a stomach churning ride. (I'm well accustomed to it. $-)) But the 1 yr. trend is definitely up. Tomorrow however should prove interesting in many of the chip stocks because it looks like the above report released late today was not taken too well by the street today (Peter on the LSI thread first broought this to my attention. techstocks.com ) APCC is solid. But Jerome I bought this one at 20! I was not recommending a purchase right now! Nevertheless if you hold this one (and LSI) through the inevitable downturns (and they will come) and even add to your LSI position if it tanks (next buy for me is 27/28) you will make out like a bandit. In general, as you know, you want to buy stocks when there's fear not greed. Right now many of the stocks have run up and greed is rampant. Many quite a lot in the last few days alone. So once again be prepared for a wild ride. But long term both stocks will do well. No more admonishings from me any more! $-)
