Judging from the bipartisan support Powell gets, I think the public sees him as a man who is above partisan politics, left-wing or right-wing.

My interpretation differs...the public fears a one sided bush administration in which hawks in the pentagon are not balanced by a, well, balanced politician whose testosterone level is under control.

Think any Democrat from the Gang of Nine can do better?

If you want to talk about partisan politics, here's your answer...not a single one of them (with the exception of Sharpton) would divide the nation the way bush has.

I told you already. I dislike his policies...he could be my brother and I would still dislike his policies. Quit trying to make more out of it.
