it was a long weekend up here and
we had lots of stuff to do. so,
in order that i not be distracted, i
i decided to not turn on the computer.
it worked.
the local sun festival was happening -
soft ball tournaments, beer gardens,
parade, food and fun.
and then the guy who was going to install
the baseboards in the room i was working
on never ever did show up, so i borrowed
a friends mitre saw and did it myself (its
easy when you have the tools) but it took
a loooooong time cause i measured and measured
and then measured again before cutting. the
baseboards were relatively easy, but i had
problems with the quarter round. anyway,
i'm just setting the nails and puttying the
holes now, and then, voilà - i'll be done!
... and i'll be 100% yours <g> said with
tongue in cheek
