I have a couple of problems that I have hesitated to ask before for fear that they have already been answered, but searching this thread didn't turn up what I need. And, since you so graciously solved another problem of mine when you saw it on another thread, I shall test once again, your knowledge and that of the rest of the group.

The first two are with the Logitech corded optical mouse that I bought several months ago:

1. The cursor frequently "jumps" across/up/down/anywhere on the screen causing me to unintentionally click on something by mistake. I think I have tried all the different settings for the mouse.

I should add that I don't think this occurs when I use the AOL browser as opposed to IE6 which is what I use almost exclusively.

2. The mouse again. If I allow my computer to "hibernate" when I bring it back up, the mouse requires "wide sweeps" to move the cursor across the screen. This does not happen if I restart the computer.

Then this last (for now) problem is basically just a little annoying, but thought I would ask anyway. I use Yahoo! for email. Occasionally, I will get an email which has a link to a site where I have an account. When I click on the link, a new window opens and requests my Yahoo! ID and password. When I enter them, I am back to my home page (Yahoo!) as opposed to the link. This is not necessarily true of all the links in the email. For example, today I received one from Travelocity with many, many links most of which work fine. However, the "my account" link (and several others in the same "box") cause this action, while about 20 others actually work. I guess the question is, is this a problem with my computer, Yahoo!, miscoding in the email or what?

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Bill
