Profiles in Courage
"If it were before me today I would vote against it, because it doesn't have environmental or labor standards in it."--Sen. John Kerry, the haughty, French-looking Massachusetts Democrat, who by the way served in Vietnam, and who by the way voted for the North American Free Trade Agreement, explaining his position on Nafta to the AFL-CIO last night

What a title...What courage...gimme a break.
Kerry wants standards now...gimme a break.

This is the same man who refused to allow a bill to get out of sub-committee earlier this year that would have imposed standards on Vietnam in exchange for import rights.

Kerry volunteered for the Armed Forces and later said it was a mistake.
Kerry threw his medals away at an anti-war rally and later said it was a mistake...the medals belonged to someone else.
Now he is saying his NAFTA position was a mistake.

Kerry is a mistake.
