What you say is SOOOOOOOO right!!!
IMHO we have very little time left before the Lord's return. That doesn't mean sit on the porch and wait, it means watch out, Satan knows it too and will tell you how great YOU are. How smart -- how Nice for you to be "understanding".
Notice I say nothing about how right the LORD is -- just how great You are. Well we're NOT !!!!!
I know of NO reason for the Lord to love me, yet He does.
He - He - He -- not Me, me, me.
And if there are any friends, family, anyone -- you want to see in Heaven, I'll bet we have very little time to let them know. How sad, to get there, look around and to not see someone you care about.
The world thinks we are terrible and that we don't care about those we speak against. Wish I could make them understand that the ones we talk about and the things they do are completely different. We hate what the Lord tells us is sin, but we still care for the person.
I always remind my son (with a smile) about the time in his life that he spent in front of a Hi-Fi listening to "music". It was part of him -- but a part we didn't like. We loved him - but not his music !!
Finally (!!!!!!) he understood.
How great to get to Heaven - turn around and see someone we thought might not be there, and to hear that is was something we said that made them think long enough to understand the Lord's FREE gift.
