Questions for you regarding the California governor situation:

Is this a plurality vote with no runoff? Can anyone who wants to run get on the ballot, or is there a petition process where you have to gather signatures?

It seems to me that there may be a dozen or more candidates. If a majority vote to nuke Davis, as seems likely, then the winner on Part B of the ballot might well have only 20 percent or so of the vote. I like Arnold's chances in that scenario. I think he would have trouble garnering a majority, but his fan base and name recognition ought to get him 20 percent of the vote without too much problem, maybe even 30 percent. In a field with a dozen or more candidates, 20-30 percent will be enough to win.
