It is very hard to actually prove that someone lied. A lie is deliberate statement made with the intention of deceive others. People of course do lie but people also are prone to report things that are false while having no intention to deceive. Sometimes people simply don’t have their facts straight and do not have the resources to insure accuracy in their statements.

People make predictions about our situation in the world and arrange their resources to deal with the future. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn’t; like for all the people who have Y2K rice and beans, rotting in their cellars.

It is not a big deal if we can find a flaw here and there in someone’s argument. It isn’t a big deal if we find out someone’s predictions fail to come true.

Although it is rare, it is definitely a big deal when we actually have solid proof that someone is lieing with full intent to deceive others. It usually indicates that we are only looking at the snow flake on the top of the tip of the ice burg of a persons character.

What amazes me most isn’t that we occasionally expose a liar; although, that is pretty amazing considering the odds against it. What truly amazes me is how the people who make so many raging accusations, have almost no credibility of their own . I consider a deliberate false accusation, equal to the worst lie ever told; and a political agenda the worst excuse for having done so...tsk tsk
