Continuing evidence that all those gene patents might be worth something

Interesting - HGSI made a big fuss (I think last year) about how they could wheel'n'deal with their IP portfolio once their original deal ended, but I believe this is the first piece of evidence that they may have been right. Of course, absent numbers, it's hard to tell how significant this new deal is.

Of course this might speak to INCY as well - remember the old stories about how they were eventually going to take a small piece (very low single digits) of most new products. It's probably still too early to tell if they were completely blowing smoke or not.
