Why bother if < 6mos?

Personally I would want the FDA bother to approve a drug that would allow (1) an additional 30 days of life or (2) an additional 30 days without a major infarct--even if death were to come 6 months later at home. That's 30 days for sure, probably up to 90, likely up to 180, and possibly longer...all for $1000 or a mere $33 per day (30 days). Apparently 0 side effects.

Look at the cancer market for heavens sake, drugs costing ten thousand dollars are approved based on 2 months survival and in a population whose death is largely prepared for.
