Hello,
Purchased a pdf ebook through amazon.com. In order to be able to read the pdf file I have to activate the adobe reader which needs a microsoft passport account.

Since yesterday I have been trying to activiate the darn ereader, all to no avail. I got the passport account, tried it with adobe reader 6.0. Uninstalled 6.0 and downloaded again and reinstalled. When I try to activate something is happening with the reader but here is no sign that anything has successfully been completed. And when I download the pdf file from Amazon, it opens up adobe reader and nothing else happens. I can also not find the file anywhere on my hard drive.

Using XP.

Any one have any suggestions?
TIA, Olga
