I will be hearing back from a group sales rep from the Flamingo Hilton in the next few days about 10 or more rooms, a hospitality room, and suggestions for a dining hall where we can enjoy a group dinner. I was told that we could realize a 10% discount on a group rate and that the Flamingo has the best group rates. A "wine room" at Paris was suggested for a more intimate atmosphere as opposed to a conference room. Sounding spendy yet? <gg>

I talked to a rep of the Alladin. They do not give group rates and their Feb 2004 rates are not available yet I was advised to call back at the end of Sept. first of Oct. I was also advised that over all, the cheapest hotel rates for Vegas are Internet rates. We may save a bundle by booking individually.

I was also told that the weekend of Feb. 5,6 and 7 is usually wide open.......i.e. cheaper.
