Even if there was a chance of the whole world going gay, that doesn't prove it wouldn't work (even without technology). Being gay doesn't mean you have to have exclusively homosexual sex. Did anyone see the great program on Sparta on PBS. It totally reminded me of this discussion. They were very gay- but managed to reproduce anyway. Interestingly the custom on the marriage night was for the bride to cut her hair short like a young boy, and dress in male clothing. The men had, of course, been living with other men since the age of 7, and at puberty had taken a male lover and mentor. Cool society. Very buff guys too (and the women were also hot).
