In the case being referred to, there is no doubt of the reliability of the evidence. There were legal records to prove it and the city would have testified to it.

And it wasn't going to mislead the jury; it was simply going to provide them with the whole truth. Isn't that part of that oath- -"the whole truth"?

So why exclude it?

Jury nullification is legal, correct? A jury deciding that a law passed by a legislative body should not be applied in a particular circumatance because of unforeseen exculpatory or mitigating circumstances?
