well he may be ineffective as a governor, we may need more of a pro who knows how to work the system with these deficits.
However, I admire his independent viewpoints. I am sick of 2 choices on the ballot in CA, one of which being an extreme far right, bible thumping, anti-choice, throw gays in jail, guns for all guy, vs. whoever the dems put forth. This is not choice and I'm sick of these party politics. Arnold is a republican who believes in moderate gun control. Fine! Since that is what the state believes. I want somebody who will stand up to that loser republican party.
Also, an Arnold victory in no way means Bush has a chance here, as I have heard a few pundits speculate today. Bush cannot win here, there is no chance. I have never seen such anger towards a president in my life... at the grocery store, the security guard at work, the minute you make smalltalk about Arnold, everybody says "how can we get rid of Bush", Bush is toast here. |
