Vietnamese soldiers tortured American prisoners. There is no excuse for it. But their guilt is for their terrible behavior towards prisoners -- not because they are Vietnamese. Over 75% of the people in Vietnam were born after the war ended. They are the Vietnamese people. They live in Vietnam. It is their country.

The Japanese tortured American prisoners. The Japanese killed millions of Chinese in a way that is hard to describe without throwing up. I do not hate the Japanese. I do not hate the Vietnamese. I hate torture.

Vietnamese died by the millions. They proved day after day that they would go on dying for their country -- we would have to kill them all. They were not going to give up. We lost the war. The war was a mistake. It is their country. They are free of American domination. Get used to it.
