You continue to demonstrate incomprehension by attacking a straw man. No one is preaching hatred against homosexuals, or counseling that they should be discriminated against broadly. There is one issue, which is whether they should be married.
None of your objections to my central arguments are cogent. Saying that you don't buy it is not impressive. Beyond that, you, again, misstate what I have said. I did not say that statistically smaller populations may be fairly discriminated against. In fact, I explicitly said otherwise. The purpose of the thought experiment was to establish a difference between a mere statistical norm and something which is a standard.
Additionally, I explicitly said that a homosexual may, all things considered, be better than a heterosexual, we are comparing characteristics, not persons. There is no rational basis for discriminating against gay people in most matters, but I am arguing that there is in one matter.
For the rest of it, there is little point in going point by point, as you have already constructed an argument that is no my own to contend with............ |
