All I can say is keep your Windows 98 system.

The W98 system can, without crashing, run live quotes, charts, while the CD is running and I'm downloading, running Word and Adobe all at the same time.

Windows XP crashes often. It is a buggy system. Seems to me Bill Gates is trying too much the big brother approach. More big brother, more complications, more crashes. Looks like many people are also experiencing the "bugcheck" crashes, and are scratching their heads trying to find solutions.

We're back to the DOS days where we have to run 1 program at a time.
