The primary reason for the 33+million in share volume is a short squeeze----those buying to close their short position. Notwithstanding I noticed several very large transactions (10k to 30k) on the uptick meaning that instutional buying has exploded. Remember instutional buyers (read mutual funds) have to churn to keep their customers retained. The large caps don't have much higher to go, so AAPL looks attractive as a buy. Because of this phenomenon AAPL price will work jaggedly up to 30+ within the next 3 months. After that who knows? Fundamentals will become important again.
