Only one thing I really don't agree with you on here :

As far as I'm concerned , the " source of much of this problem ", but not the only one,as you mention,is America's blind support for Israel,or should I say, " a Greater Israel ".

Until America comes to terms with this,little will change.
The " roadmap " was a good start,although much too late.I guess the need to get rid of Saddam took precedent .I could go on,but as I've stated before,noone is so blind as he who refuses to see.
