The UN is not perfect. Neither is the American justice system. But last time I checked, obeying the law was still considered the best choice available to most people in the United States. Bush says the law only applies to other people. The US can kill anybody it wants to -- the US can invade any country it wants to any time it wants to and does not need a reason and is not accountable to anyone. We invaded a sovereign nation that posed no threat to us because we wanted to -- and in doing so we seriously damaged the set of international relationships on which we rely to maintain some degree of stability in the world. Congratulations. No need for the UN. We are on a role -- how about forming some lynch mobs and go killing some "bad" people on the streets of America (or more precisely, killing people who "look bad" or who might be bad in the future) -- ya, that would feel good too, wouldn't it. No need for police. No need for the courts. Lets just go find "evil doers" and kill them because we want to see them die. We don't need the rule of law. I admire your highly evolved sense of justice.
