There are only two cards on the MSI mother board... video and ethernet. Device Manager shows both these drivers are working properly and both are digitally signed by Microsoft Windows.

I wonder if it is the sound card (Realtek AC97 ALC650) built in the motherboard. I've downloaded and re-installed the latest driver from the MSI site, and Device Manager indicates that the driver is working properly, however it is NOT digitally signed.
