"Mr. Gore sounded very ex-vice-presidential." He sounded like the guy that lost. From Gore's speech... later in the political cycle I will endorse one of them, because I believe that we must stand for a future in which the United States will again be feared only by its enemies; in which our country will again lead the effort to create an international order based on the rule of law; Too bad he didn't think that way when he was VP. Gore helped preside over his administration's 8 year long dismantling of 35-40% of four of our five military services. Did he believe that was striking fear into the hearts and minds of our enemies? uw
