agreed, and I'm sure not interested in paying for somebody's 100K/year boutique biotech drug treatment for some obscure disease. It is just common sense the economics of this won't work. Maybe a free market approach to the problem might work, for example lowering the patent threshold for new drugs, with financial caps on insurance payouts for the new ones. I don't know.
