actually, we have been in a "recovery" for months. But Bush and his team neglected to account for the jobs migration which is killing the tax base. Unemployment is worse now than in all of Bush's term, and it is accelerating. The bad jobs climate will weigh on the consumer driven economy and this current climate is probably as good as it gets imho, sluggishness.

All the Bush team can hope for is some kind of miracle on the jobs front, in lieu of that, the picture next year wrt deficits is worse than this year.

We have to get that yuan (and rupee) totally floated or else white collar employment is going to take another dive here.
