Bush gave away the farm with a bunch of high end tax cuts, and the war in Iraq, and now there is no ammunition to deal with the real threat we face, global offshoring of jobs. We cannot negotiate with China to float the Yuan now, because China is refusing to buy our debt. Bush policies have created this left shift in worker sentiment and that is going to affect us negaively for years to come.
