Right, and still no response, except the usual schoolyard ventilations and epithets. I'm assuming that's embarassment, but perhaps it's lack of further ideas on how to spin things. Who knows.

In any event, no one considers such things to be "responses", but simply like rude noises in class, or grafitti on the wall, good for a giggle, but stalling for time and avoiding the issue.

Which is fine. The issue is settled, unless you have anything to counter your initial statement of "the best thing about Bush is the pain and suffering", etc. You must still stand by that, or at least don't care to acknowledge the implications.
