So I take it, you would have favored the continued the previous policy on Iraq, with U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia maintaining no fly zones and enforcing sanctions.

I believe that Saddam offered a bounty to Abu Sayyaf to kill Americans, before the United States attacked Iraq (again) and placed a bounty on Saddam.

Clinton was a party to the invasion of Iraq. He acted as Tony Blair's personal advisor before the attack.

Of course the UN knew that Iraq had WMDs. Inspectors were sent to insure that Iraq to insure that the Country was living up to its agreement regarding WMDs.

re:"#2...The US attacked saddam and put a bounty on his head. He is responding to what the US started. Now you are trying to say the invasion is justified because saddam has reacted to it??
and #1...These "other terrorist groups" were not an imminent threat to the US.
The US has alliances with other terrorist groups as well.
#4...another moot inanity...clinton was not a party to the invasion of Iraq...
#5...the UN did not proclaim that Iraq had WMD. If that were the case, there would have been no need to send inspectors."
