I have no suggestions on that one. I've never heard of nor can I find any error messages like that. Maybe your registry is damaged and you can try a restore. To restore the system Registry, boot your computer from your Win98 Startup Disk. At the DOS prompt, type SCANREG /RESTORE You will get a screen with a listing of the 5 latest backups. Choose one and see if it helps the situation.
