The median survival time was 10 months... Fifty-seven of 670 patients remain alive, and the median follow-up time for survivors was 33 months.

Note the tail here as well - nearly 10% are still alive after something approaching 3 years. The link you provided assumes constant risk in the survival curve - something that is inconsistent with these tails. (Still very interesting though).
