I'm no computer wiz and I've replaced video cards in both my Dells. One was a XPS PII 166 and the other PIII 600. Is the video on your Dell on the motherboard or is the video card separate? If it is on the motherboard, this will have to be disabled first. Your instruction manual should explain how to do this. If the video is on its own card, it should be easy to replace it.
