It is selfish really to look upon the suffering of our fellow human beings with such abandon as "...just abandon the place and leave!" It is indeed amusing to see you folks embrace what you would have dismissed, even a couple of years ago, as "pious bleeding-heart liberal nonsense"... The difference is that while the "bleeding-hearts" really meant it, you guys don't. Your insincerity is obvious and apparent and down in the Middle-East, where you give 3B a year to the Israelis even as they pound the defenseless Palestinians, nobody is going to buy it.
