Why isn't COSI making any money ? Until that picture turns around, it ain't no Starbucks!

I hear ya.. Which is why I asked if this is Starbucks "in the rough".. I go there all the time, preferring them over Starbucks. Been going there since the first Xando opened up in DC over at Dupont Circle..

They seem to be showing some decent sales on a per share basis, if I'm reading it correctly. Thus, lots of room for improvement if they can get a handle on the expenses.

Book Value (mrq) $1.68
Earnings (ttm) -$2.08
Earnings (mrq) -$0.70
Sales (ttm) $5.55
Cash (mrq) $0.22

SBUX has $9.64 in sales per share... But then again, they have all of those branded products sold in stores..

But the locations COSI has are very high visibility in DC.. One right across from the Old Executive Office Building (which is next to the white house).. The place always seems packed.

It's a tough one.. and certainly a speculation.. It really depends on the new management and what changes are made to enhance corporate performance and shareholder value.
