Hi Lindy, I hope you don't mind, but I just feel like writing tonight. It's probably because after nearly three months, I've finally gotten my home in Italy hooked up to the internet! Yes, that's what it's like living in a country which seems driven by government monopolies. :)

I will say this though, the connection is a bit faster than my home in Washington state was, and for only 50 Euro's a month. So, the Italians are coming along quite nicely if I do say so myself.

Ahh, Arnold and his entry into politics. I've been reading the articles you've posted over the past few days, and I'm not sure what to make of it. A large part of me says, great, someone to jump into the political fray and shake up the system a bit. The other side says, oh, no, the hollywooding of politics. If you have a famous name, go for the power positions. How shallow and sad...

I also noticed today Newsmax referred to a New York Times article about the covert ops efforts in Iraq. Remember when I posted that article a few months ago from newsmax? It rang true to me then, and it's interesting to see the N.Y. Times finally picking up on it now.

Just some ramblings...Take Care Lindy, I enjoy your thread, even if I don't post very often.

Michael
