I'm not a exactly a day trader, but I do day trade once in a while.. most of the rules I read on your thread can be extrapolated for position trading.. ---- I still work and make more on my job than I can hope to make in the market, but I enjoy trading when I have time. ---- My style developed over time and it's not some real hot get rich thingy.. some of it is a carry over from the years I spent at the dog tracks ..I even have my own way of looking at the odds offered on my longer term stocks. ---- The last real good odds I got was during the OCT panic.. ---- Well I got called on my XOM today..by rights I think I should get the dividend..it went ex today..and being it won't settle until the 13th..I see myself as the holder of record ..I guess I'm going to have a shitfight with Waterhouse.
