Leaving aside that there is no constitutional basis for removing US citizen soverignty and replacing it with UN / WTO authority, this idea that the US is the parent of the world is a flawed assumption, and the root of a great deal of mischief .

No one in the media is apparently permitted the much more logical idea that if the US does what is it its own best interests, by its own prosperity and trade the rest of the world will benefit.

"Globalizing" trade simply means tilting the playing field in favor of multi-national corporate interests, who have loyalty to no one, least of all the United States, and in fact funnel profits offshore as rapidly as possible.

The politicians and don't-think-tanks are highly compensated to keep citizens in the dark, both figuratively and literally.
