Success, and survixal, will accrue to the country that can integrate new ideas into their daily lives and power structures. Secular societies, enforcing old concepts of mans relationships,duties, and property rights, and fearful of changes are at a major disadvantage. Faith alone can no longer withstand the force of modern warfare, nor prevent progress, and divides societies by the the incompatible religeous doctrines which can never be brought into agreement.
At least I cant see how the Pope, the Muslims, and the Mormons, and Israelis can do it.And still leaves a problem with Chinese, Indians, Russians, And Tibetans
Change would require a second coming , on the magnitude of a Martian invasion. With death rays.
For societies to interact without warfare requires people operate on a lower level( or perhaps higher level) than religion- that is to say, business laws, economics or power.
What country can set a better example for the world, than the US, who has more experience with integration of races than any other, and welcomes new ideas or inventions very day ?.
