The arrogance just drips from every sentence. "We did not mean to be so great that others would be forced to worship us, but what can we do, we are just so marvelous" (paraphrasing). We have guns. That is the source of our power in the world under Bush today. We once had a leading role, but you cannot have it both ways. And the way we chose was the wrong way.
