Jim, I might be the naive one.<g>

But I think China building its navy mainly because of Taiwan, so how that card is played depending on how Taiwan issue comes out. And China would not go into an arm race with the US. And I read that some Mainland scientists now are suggesting to build a tunnel to Taiwan<g>.

And maybe I am naive, but I think you are a little too farfetched for the US selling weapons to Iran. I think this would not happen until Iran has a regime change<g>
