Ted, The politicians are a reflection of the people........in other words, you get what you pay for.

The recall is a reflection of the people. Obviously you think it's a bad idea,

I never once said it was a bad idea. However, the point of the recall is to get someone better than Davis. Arnold is not better than Davis......probably worse.

yet if such a mechanism exists for the POTUS, you'd be one of the most active signature gatherers. And you'd be cheering the liberal equivalent of Issa (Soros maybe?) who'd pony up millions just to "recall Dubya."

Yes, of course. I think Bush is doing an absolute terrible job as president and should be recalled if that were possible.

I lived CA nightmarin' for ten years plus. You've been there for what, ten months, and you think you know all the problems and their solutions.

I've been here only four months, but prior to that, I already knew what a mess Californian politics was.

I am not talking CA politics. I am talking about the functioning of the state as an entity.

With respect to that, I'm probably more of an optimist than you are, given that I chose to move here while you chose to move out.

That's funny! You'll see! No one forced me to move there either!
