NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 12, 2003--
Orders Part of $2 Million Contractual Purchase Commitment By July 2004

Radio Commercial Campaign Launched

Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (APPI), a company that utilizes whole plants through a proprietary (patent pending) manufacturing process to develop all natural dietary supplements, has received a second order Lo-Chol, the company's cholesterol-lowering supplement, from NutraLife Pharmaceuticals Corp., as agreed by Tele-V, LLC, in accordance with a previously announced marketing agreement.

According to the terms of the marketing agreement,Tele-V,LLC will purchase a minimum of $2 million over the next twelve months of Lo-Chol from APPI of its patented cholesterol reducing dietary supplement, Lo-Chol, for resale. This purchase commitment represents a 90 fold increase in APPI's reported 2002 revenues from all products.

In exchange for this exclusive right to market Lo-Chol , NutraLife has agreed to bear all costs associated with the marketing, designs, and distribution etc. of Lo-Chol, including a commitment to purchase a minimum of $250,000 in air time for TV and radio. NutraLife has launched a Lo-Chol radio commercial campaign in the past few days. The launch of the TV infomercial campaign is planned for the end of October 2003. This $2 million purchase commitment represents a 90 fold increase in APPI's reported 2002 revenues from all products.

Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (APPI) focuses on the research and development of plant-based dietary supplements.
