You can ignore the global consensus on Afghanistan and pretend that our invasion of Iraq is just like our military action in Afghanistan -- it is raw sewage, but it is a free country. We did not send troops to Afghanistan because we did not like the Taliban, We took military action because we were attacked. We took action in self-defense -- and we received remarkable global support. None of this applies to Iraq -- none of it at all. As for FADG posts, so far as I know, the world couldn't care less and FADG has no standing as an important international forum.
