I'm just an uneducated student of economics. That is what this thread is about. It's for folks that don't know much but are unafraid to ask questions.
Oh. OK. I should do well. Nobody's more uneducated than I. :-)

Looking through the von Mises links, I saw words to the effect that central banks create the economic cycle. They lower interest rates, stimulating the economy and ultimately unwise investment. When they see what they've done, they raise them to try to control the monster they created and the next crash starts, which makes them lower interest rates.....

Gee, I'd SWEAR that's what just happened!
