If the Iraqis are not willing to fight and die for their own democracy, what makes you think they will be able to handle one that is foisted upon them by the Americans? The Iraqi people should have risen up against Saddam a long time ago. The reason that they did not is also the reason that democracy has little or no chance in Iraq after the Americans leave. How's the democratic experiment in Afghanistan going? Orca
