Nadine you seem to be a straight shooter but we do not own Iraq

Pity we destroyed all our good relations by invading out of the blue, then </heavy sarcasm> Aren't you kind of forgetting the invasion of Kuwait, Gulf War I, the cease-fire, and 12 years of 'keeping Saddam in his box'?

I know you have said that they have nothing to do with each other, but it's not true and it won't be true no matter how many times you say it. The time to say don't meddle with Iraq was in 1990. Since then, we have been involved. As far as we were concerned Iraq was a festering sore. Now there is hope of its improvement, and as as a side benefit, Saddam has stopped killing 10,000 Iraqis a year and more. Oh, I forgot, humanitarian benefits don't count if you go in with impure motives, so the Iraqis should have been left to Saddam's tender mercies.
