Its turned into a popularity contest. Californians will put Arnold into office because, like Ten, they are sick of career politicians. Arnold is all glam so they will be titillated for the first year or two but when things don't improve much, they'll turn on him. In the meantime, if the state continues to flounder, we'll be hurt by that floundering along with Californians. It's hard to imagine anyone having the key to this equation.
